Position Overview:

There are multiple positions available throughout Mindanao.

The Content Creator for Mindanaos.com is responsible for proactively seeking out, capturing, and compiling engaging and informative content that will enrich the website. This role involves traveling throughout Mindanao, visiting various locations to gather high-quality images and video, and producing well-documented articles and descriptions to accompany the visual content. The Content Creator will also assist with client content creation and marketing when needed, while promoting Mindanaos.com to potential advertisers and the public.

This role is crucial in building a rich and diverse content library for Mindanaos.com, ensuring the site remains an engaging and informative resource for both visitors and residents of Mindanao.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively Find and Compile Interesting Content:
  • Identify and explore locations, events, landmarks, and cultural sites in Mindanao that would be of interest to the Mindanaos.com audience.
  • Take high-quality photographs and videos that accurately represent the subject matter.
  • Write comprehensive articles and descriptions that accompany the visual content, including details such as location, accessibility, and relevance.
• Systematically Work to Complete Content for an Area:
  • Focus on thoroughly covering one area or region before moving on to another, ensuring comprehensive coverage of Mindanao.
  • Keep detailed records of all locations visited and content created.
• Assist with Client Content Creation and Marketing:
  • Work with clients to create promotional content that aligns with their advertising goals and the vision of Mindanaos.com.
  • Help produce videos, images, and articles for client advertising and promotional efforts.
• Liaise with Local Contacts:
  • Engage with locals to obtain permission for capturing content and encourage their participation as paid advertising clients.
  • Promote the Mindanaos.com website and its social media platforms, encouraging subscriptions and participation.
• Record Keeping:
  • Maintain accurate records of all content created and areas visited, ensuring that no areas are overlooked or duplicated.
  • Track and report all travel expenses for reimbursement.
• General Duties:
  • Be available to work weekends when required to cover events or visit locations that are only accessible during the weekend.
  • Dress in respectable casual attire appropriate for visiting various locations, meeting people, and representing Mindanaos.com.
  • Actively promote the website, encouraging people to visit, subscribe to YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and join Patreon.

Summary of Payment:

• Compensation will be provided per completed content creation, with additional pay for specific assignments.
• Travel expenses will be reimbursed upon presentation of receipts.
• Participation in client video creation or other specific tasks will be compensated based on the complexity and scope of work.

Compensation:

1. Per Completed Creation (Simple Documentation):
   • Rate: PHP 500 per set of images/videos with a short explanatory document.
   • Payment: Upon approval after content meets quality standards.
   • Considerations: Quality of descriptions and clarity of images/videos.
2. Per Completed Creation (Full Article):
   • Rate: PHP 1,000 per article with detailed images/videos.
   • Payment: After content is reviewed and approved.
   • Considerations: Depth and engagement of the article, relevance of visuals.
3. Specific Photo/Video Assignments:
   • Rate: PHP 300 per assignment.
   • Payment: Based on the number of completed tasks.
   • Considerations: Adherence to instructions and content quality.
4. Assisting with Client Advertising Video:
   • Rate: PHP 400 per day.
   • Payment: Evaluated and paid daily based on contribution.
   • Considerations: Professionalism and level of assistance.

Travel Allowance:

• Rate: PHP 100 per day or reimbursement of actual travel costs with receipts.
• Payment: Provided for trips to specific locations, with receipts submitted for reimbursement if applicable.
